Fragment of Bowl
The maiden represented on this fragment wears a lotus flower, an unguent cone, and an elaborate wig on her head. She carries a pole from which hang a bunch of lotus flowers and a brace of ducks. When complete, the scene probably showed her on a papyrus skiff. Such details frequently appear in New Kingdom tomb paintings of duck hunts in the Nile marshes. - Medium: Faience
