Votive stela to Ptah
Votive stela to Ptah showing the 'hearing ears' of the god. This is one of a large group of votive deposits unearthed beneath a Ramesside building in the precinct of the temple of Ptah at Memphis. Many of the finds bear the motif of the hearing ear of the god, expected to hear the prayers of man. To the right of the man shown offering, the hieroglyphic inscription names the god Ptah.
