Inventory number: E.2307
MIDDLE KINGDOM ?
This
wooden object, which was acquired by an exchange with the Museum of
Cairo, but whose provenance is not known, is a beautiful example of a
bracelet which was worn on the wrist, on the arms or on the ankle. It is
particularly distinguished by its flared form constituting five
spirals. The piece probably dates from the Middle Kingdom.
