Glass alabastron
An alabastron in the shape of an amphora, made from dark blue glass and formed on a sand core which has been carefully ground out. Around the mouth and upper part of the neck are two rims of twisted blue and yellow glass. Around the lower part of the neck is a rod of pale blue glass and further down, around the bowl is a rod of white glass between two narrow bands of pale blue glass. On one side of the bowl are two yellow knobs, the points of which are slightly chipped.
