Falcon Amulet of Prince Hornakht
A gold amulet that depicts a squatting falcon. It dates to the reign of Prince Hornakht. The amulet is made of gold and inlaid with lapis lazuli and silver.
The falcon is one of the depictions of the god Horus, who represents the king ruling on earth. Horus was worshipped all over Egypt in all periods.
