Fluted gold bowl with inset faience centre disk, inlaid with four stylised palmettes. These have been interpreted as combining papyrus and lotus flowers, symbols of the Delta and Nile Valley, to represent the unity of Egypt. From the tomb of General Wen-Djeba-En- Djed, senior official of Psusennes I. Country of Origin: Egypt. Culture: Pharaonic. Date/Period: 3rd Intermediate, XXIst Dynasty.
