Roman
Stucco; H. 8 1/4 in. (20.9 cm)
Rogers Fund, 1909 (09.221.37)
The standing figure is identified as the emperor Antoninus Pius on the basis of his similarity to known portraits. Before him kneels a barbarian suppliant, part of a larger scene whose context is now lost.
