GRAECO-ROMAN PERIOD

The decoration of this mask is delicately painted. There is a headband on the forehead and a winged scarab on the cranium. The face is grey and the eyes are polychrome. On the front, two goddesses (Isis and Nephthys ?) were depicted on the falling strands of hair of the wig. A necklace was depicted on this mask. The bottom is adorned with a frieze of crouching gods and two udjat-eyes. The knot of the headband is depicted on the back. Near it, two goddesses on a pedestal protect an udjat-eye with their wings. Below the knot, Osiris-Djed is depicted wearing the anedjty-crown.
