SHABTI
faience
A blue glazed faience shabti. The long wig, facial features, necklace and bracelets are all outlined in black paint. A hoe, pick and basket are shown over the shoulders at the back and there is a water jar over the right shoulder. An inscription in black hieroglyphs gives the text from the 6th chapter of the Book of the Dead.
