Fragment of anthropoid coffin

This fragment of an anthropoid coffin represents the head of a female. She wears a long black wig, decorated with a diadem and a lotus flower. The facial features, accentuated by heavy brows, the made up eyes, a fine nose and a small mouth, indicate a certain relationship to the iconographic representations of the beginning of the 19th Dynasty.
