Sculpted head of a veiled woman. Known as La Dame d'Alexandrie, and similar to many Ptolemaic royal portraits, her identity has yet to be conclusively established. Portrait bust of Alexander the Great. The sculptor has attempted to evoke Alexander's professed religious experience at the Temple of Amun in the Siwa Oasis.
