BALL

BALL
A small, sealed clay ball, plain with no holes. Other balls of this type contained human hair and were probably used in the casting of spells.

18TH DYNASTY
From excavations carried out by the Egypt Exploration Society at el-'Amarna. The ball was part of a large mixed collection purchased from the Castle Museum, Norwich, in 1956.
